English Tourism Week Conference 2019

The Tourism Alliance, the Tourism Society and British Destinations are hosting the second ETW Conference on 1st April 2019 at the RAF club in London. This timely conference, being held on the first working day after the UK leaves the EU, features a keynote speech from the Tourism Minister, Michael Ellis MP, alongside a range political and industry experts highlighting the key challenges and opportunities facing the UK tourism industry at this crucial juncture.

The Tourism Alliance will also using the Conference to launch a new forward-looking publication that highlights five big ideas that the Government can adopt that will significantly boost tourism revenue and employment in a post-Brexit environment.

  • The Minister is giving the keynote speech which should contact more detail on the Tourism Sector Deal
  • We have Lucy Anderson MEP from the EU Tourism and Transport Committee to answer questions on what’s happen on tourism and Brexit from a EU perspective.
  • All delegate are invited to the Parliamentary Reception afterwards where the Culture Secretary, Jeremy Wright is speaking.
