It takes an enormous amount of time, resources and energy to produce our food and then we waste a million tonnes of it every year. The cost of this waste to the sector equates to approximately £10,000 per outlet. When this waste goes to landfill it produces greenhouse gases, which in turn causes global temperatures to rise. Hear from WRAP’s Hugh Jones and Eleanor Morris who will give an overview of the ground breaking Food Waste Reduction Roadmap aimed at helping businesses reduce waste and provide an introduction to the Guardians of Grub free resources, aimed at spurring businesses into action and reducing annual food waste throughout our industry.  During the Webinar UKHospitality members will have the opportunity to ask questions and share tips on reducing food waste.
