UKH statement regarding Super Break and Late Rooms collapse

Commenting on today’s news of the collapse of two companies within the Malvern group, UKH CEO Kate Nicholls said:

“The collapse of Late Rooms and Super Break is obviously very worrying and the impact on holidaymakers and employees of the two companies is extremely regrettable.

“However, with Super Break being members of ABTA, bookings through them ought generally to be refundable, while Late Rooms appear confident that bookings with their accommodation suppliers ought to be secure. If you have booked holidays through either company, the best advice is to contact the accommodation provider directly, to confirm that your booking is confirmed and will be honoured.”
