Hospitality Works 2019

HOSPITALITY WORKS 2019

With unemployment at historically low levels and indications of a significantly tighter immigration policy in the future, industry must make recruitment and development of British workers a priority.

UKHospitality, in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions, Job Centre Plus, Springboard and BBPA, is leading the Hospitality Works 2019 employment initiative, which has created more than 8,500 new career starts for jobs eekers since 2015. Its aim is to boost the reputation of work in the sector.

The Hospitality Works campaign will be launching on 14 February 2019 for a three-week campaign, which includes a series of hospitality events throughout the UK. It brings together leading employers to promote awareness of the sector as a viable career option, increase the number of people moving into hospitality jobs and raise aspirations within the sector.

This campaign has also been supported by The RT Hon Amber Rudd MP, Secretary of State for Work and Pension. Read the Secretary of State letter here >
