On 24 February 2022, Russia invaded and occupied parts of Ukraine in a major escalation of the Russo-Ukrainian War, which began in 2014. The invasion has resulted in tens of thousands of deaths on both sides, and instigated Europe’s largest refugee crisis since World War II.
There are many ways to support Ukraine. We have been feeding into government regarding the various ways the hospitality industry is poised to assist. The government announced the launch of their webpage for sponsors to record their interest in offering accommodation.
Supporting your staff
We also encourage businesses to see how they can support their staff members who are sponsoring a family or individual. This can include informal offers of work.
