As part of our ongoing engagement with politicians of all parties, we held an event in Westminster where we invited MPs to join us and hear more about how hospitality contributes to their constituency.
New data, which we commissioned with Polimapper, shows the number of venues, the economic contribution and number of people employed by hospitality in each constituency in England, Scotland and Wales.
All MPs were briefed on the the importance of creating the right conditions for our sector to fulfil it’s economic potential and drive recovery. Prime among those conditions are our asks for the coming Autumn Statement – to freeze the business rates multiplier and to extend rates relief.
