Statutory Sick Pay updates webinar

On 6 April, significant changes to the Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) regime will come into effect. The main changes are that SSP will be due from the 1st day of sickness rather than the 4th, currently; and the lower earnings threshold will be removed.

These changes will have major impacts for the hospitality sector, as was outlined at our Workforce, Skills and Employment Rights event. We want to make sure that all members are aware of the changes and delve into the detail, particularly around different types of workers.

This webinar will explain what this all means and what businesses will need to do. We will be supported by employment law experts Boyes Turner who have already produced a guidance note for members.
