Our people are absolutely essential to the success of hospitality businesses. After all, we’re a people first sector. Unfortunately, the entire sector has been struggling with worker shortages for far too long, with vacancies 48% above pre-pandemic levels. Tackling this is a core priority of ours and something we raise with the Government at every opportunity.

Our focus at the Budget is to make sure the Government delivers the reform of the business rates system in England that they promised in their manifesto.

We’re calling on the Government to tackle the rising costs hospitality businesses are facing as a key way to stem the inflation the country is seeing.
