Recognising and responding to antisemitism in the workplace – WEBINAR

UKHospitality will be hosting a one-hour online session on antisemitism, delivered by the SAFE team at the Community Security Trust.

The session is a practical primer and assumes no prior knowledge. In the hour it’ll cover:

• The Jewish community in the UK today
• Key antisemitic stereotypes, and how to recognise them
• Anti-Jewish extremism, terrorism and hate incidents
• What antisemitism looks like at work — including the everyday remarks and assumptions that are easy to miss, and what that means in customer-facing and team settings
• Where prejudice ends and hate crime begins
• Practical counter-measures: reporting, bystander action, and how to support a colleague afterwards

It’s aimed at anyone who wants to feel more confident recognising antisemitism when it happens, and responding rather than staying silent.
